Project Overview
With rising energy costs and an increasing focus on sustainability, PC Henderson sought to reduce their reliance on grid electricity while transitioning to cleaner, renewable energy sources. The goal was to lower operational costs, improve environmental performance and future-proof their County Durham manufacturing site.
After initially discovering AR Power via social media, PC Henderson engaged with the team to explore the feasibility of a solar PV installation. AR Power’s in-house team designed and delivered a bespoke solar PV system tailored to the site’s requirements:

- Estimated annual generation: 203,549 kWh
- Annual CO₂ reduction: 45,763 kg
