At AR Power we have been working alongside Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council to reduce their buildings’ consumption by 45% and help them contribute to their target of becoming a net-zero organisation.
As part of the project, we installed solar panels (with a total of 289.58kW) across a portfolio of their buildings. A breakdown of our solar installations for the individual Redcar City Council buildings can be seen in the table below:
Building | Energy Yield (kWp) | Completion Date |
Redcar and Cleveland House | 164.34 | Jan / Feb 2022 |
Daisy Lane | 60.39 | Dec 2021 |
Redcar 25K | 24.75 | Nov 2021 |
Doranstown | 12.375 | Nov 2021 |
CLC Data Centre | 27.72 | Nov 2021 |
Overall, the work our team have completed for Redcar City Council has been a huge success, with Chris Moon (from RCC) stating ‘In conjunction with ARP, we have finished solar installations at 8 sites across the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council portfolio of buildings. These will, on average, reduce building consumption by 45% and really contribute to our target of becoming a net-zero organisation. We’ve found ARP to be an extremely thorough, professional, and conscientious partner and this project has been a real exemplar of the way in which a PV installation can be conducted.’
